The company I have kept over the years has taught me a lot. The fabricated -v- the authentic, the givers and the takers. i guess we are all God's children.

Temptation - the hidden rewards

• Lust can bring satisfaction through not giving into it. Even those with ill intent are best not to give into lust. they know all will come to them on a plate if they withdraw. being well practised, they dont mind the wait.
• Greed as gentleness. It does not take much for the astute to realise that when they speak with a gentle voice, or act with gentleness, no matter what their internal climate, they are more likely to get what they want.

so, what is the difference between all people?

to some people life is a game. they get excited by how they are able to manipulate others and all the goodies that come their way when they do. The are the winners. The operate from the mind, and their hearts are hard.

They think surely they have found the key to life because look at how things are just laid out for them. if it gets them what they want, its obviously the way they should live. money, sex - even love flowing to them through an open door.

It seems to me that they are navigating their way in the world to fabricate the fruits of the spirit. But what they have is not authentic, just as they are not authentic. when i love these people it seems that it develops my character and leads me to a delicious spiritual salad - its just a matter of how long i can endure loving my abusers before it kills me completely.  Without a doubt I tackle the world as a lamb amongst wolves.

the best thing for me is being real, being authentic, being me. i hate playing games. when i am forced to play games i dont play to win, i play to get to the end as quickly as possible. afterall what is there to win in a game where half the players just want it to be over? ok the game is over, now can we just get on with loving you!
